'Light Trails & Night Photography'

The work I did for my final major project focuses on light trails and night photography which I developed from my previous work with twilight and long exposure photography. I have used this work to visualise how I think the night sky is so much more than most people perceive and I use multiple techniques and genre like astrophotography and light trails to make this idea possible.

I chose to undertake this project because I think it plays to my strengths in photography which are mainly manipulating light using long exposure and night photography, these are some of my favourite parts of photography because there is a lot of ways to expand and improve using those as a starting point. This is why for this project I have chosen to experiment these core ideas in different ways than I have done previously by incorporating David Hockney joiners and trying to improve my overall skills with night photography.
